Cederberg day-tripping...

A quick post from my side, and once again - images I have been meaning to share on the blog for some time. An escape to the Cederberg is always a great way to get out of the city and enjoy a it of the wild outdoors. Ideal if you’re already in Cape Town, the Cederberg region is a mere 3 hours out of town, and always well worth the visit.

This was my third visit to the area, and definitely not the last if I have anything to say about it. Below is a mix of digital images shot on the Canon 200D, and colour film images on my Minolta X-300s using a roll of Fujichrome Sensia 100- (expired).

Scroll to the end of the post for a list of my recommended places to visit. By no means an exhaustive list, but nevertheless useful. Please keep in mind that it’s best to travel in a 4x4 or raised vehicle - some roads may be smooth but others quite rough.

When you’re in the Cederberg…

Remember there’s often a gem of a place right on your door-step. And if you venture just a little further you’ll likely find even more!

Happy traveling,
