Raoul & Natalie Rock Out at The Showroom
So, finally got round to posting my snapshots of this seriously impressive gig which took place in September, at the snazzy Prince Albert Showroom Theatre. An intimate and world-class venue at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains. Well worth the visit!
Natalie Chapman was up first and what a perfect intro to the show with her singer-songwriter tunes - spoiling us with some of her new works which were all well received - getting things off to an awesome start♪♫
Next up, Raoul & Black Friday literally blew my mind as my ears and heart begged for more of their rock, jazz, and bluesy vibes. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better we were all treated to some insane Hendrix tunes played with a Black Friday flavour - guitar behind the back, insane shredding, amazing vocals and more. Not quite what I was expecting for a night out in the Karoo, but oh so awesome. The just got better and better with each song and I will be honest... I was pretty sad when it was all over.
Here are some of my favourite Wedding Photographers on Instagram right now. There are a lot of photographers out there that are just downright inspirational. We’ve all got our certain style, and that’s what really makes things interesting.
If you haven’t been to the Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve, just outside of Franschhoek, then it’s about time you visited! Epic views await you, and some of the best scenery in the Cape.
was taking better long exposure images the very same day, and I’m really glad I decided to attend - well worth the money and time! After our lectures, we played around with some of the demo NiSi filters on the shoreline, and it was actually a lot of fun, shooting in the dying light and salty sea-spray!
Now, there’s a pretty small chance you will get something counterfeit. But buying a fake does exist. In fact, it happened to me last week.
I entered a handful of competitions throughout 2018, and while I was confident I would receive zero accolades for any of my entries, I entered anyway. | Read more…
Scroll to the end of the post for a list of my recommended places to visit. By no means an exhaustive list, but nevertheless useful. Please keep in mind that it’s best to travel in a 4x4 or raised vehicle - some roads may be smooth but others quite rough.
I don’t know about you, but I’m getting a bit sick of all the plastic that surrounds our lives. From our clothes, to our food packaging, toiletries, and more. I’m looking to seriously reduce my plastic usage (especially single-use plastics) this year.
Cape Town-based Noon Gun Brewery & Distillery. I’ve been into stacks of breweries, and although Noon Gun is new on the block, I’m impressed with what they have going. An awesome home-base in Muizenberg, and of course, the beers are great!
